The Thin the Tip Workbook teaches you how to understand reeds, not just how to make them. 

While I share my reed making process, the focus is on cause and effect: Why does removing cane here affect the crow this way? What do these vibrations tell you? How do you know what to scrape next? 

Through the Full Spectrum Crow diagnostic approach and guided worksheets, you'll develop observational skills and learn to make informed decisions. This isn't about following strict instructions or measurements—it's about understanding your reeds well enough to solve problems independently, no matter what materials or methodology you're using. 

The worksheets help you slow down, observe carefully, and build confidence in your decision-making. Because the best reed makers aren't the ones who follow instructions perfectly, they're the ones who understand what they're doing and why.
